Join us at the Heart of Willoughby and Willoughby Outdoor Market this Saturday from 8:00 AM to Noon!

We'll be bringing a little bit of everything, including:

One of our favorite parts of market day is introducing people to new flavors. Whether you love sweet pea shoots, spicy radish, colorful amaranth, or want to try something you've never tasted before, we'll have plenty of varieties available to sample.

If you'd like to guarantee your favorite greens are available, send us a message before Saturday! We'll send you a list of available blends, you can prepay, and we'll have everything freshly harvested and ready for a quick pickup at the market.

Who says microgreens are only for savory dishes? 🍓🌱✨

This weekend we stopped by A.F. Secor Nursery LLC for some U-Pick strawberry picking, and we had an absolute blast! There’s just something special about fresh-picked strawberries, especially when you get to enjoy the experience with family.

Back at home, those berries found their way onto a homemade strawberry shortcake topped with a some of our Micro Melon. The sweet, melon-like flavor pairs surprisingly well with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, adding a fresh pop of color and flavor to every bite.

One of our favorite things about microgreens is how versatile they are. They can elevate everything from tacos and burgers to desserts like this one. 🌱💚

Quesabirria tacos + Fiesta Fiesta = a match made in the Itsy Bitsy kitchen 🌮🌱✨

One of the coolest parts of growing microgreens is seeing what happens after the harvest 🌱✨

Many of our spent trays don't go to waste. After harvesting, some of them get tossed into our garden beds, and every year we're surprised by what decides to keep growing!

Right now, we have Golden Acre cabbage, cilantro, white carrots, and kale thriving in the garden from trays that started their lives as microgreens. 💚

The kale has been especially fun to watch. Over the past month and a half, it has been covered in beautiful yellow flowers, and now there are seed pods everywhere! Nature is pretty amazing when you stop and pay attention.

We're excited to collect some of those seeds and see if we can grow them out as microgreens again. Imagine that... seeds from our own kale plants becoming a future crop of microgreens harvested right here on our family farm. 🌱

🎉 Happy 6th Birthday to our Elijah 🥳

It’s hard to believe this sweet, caring, animal-loving little boy is already SIX. 🌱🐾

Elijah helps so much around our home and family farm. He loves tagging along for deliveries, hanging out at Pet Paradise, helping donate pet grass to local shelters, and giving all the animals extra love while we’re there. He truly has such a kind heart. 💚

He’s also getting ready to graduate kindergarten and we are just so proud of how much he has learned this year. Reading 46 words per minute, growing more confident every day, and constantly making us smile.

Watching you grow into such a thoughtful, hardworking, and loving little person has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.

Happy Birthday, Scoop. We love you so much 💚
