My wood guy Charles Palyu found that the steps above the landing was poplar, a different kind of wood so the stain wouldn’t be consistent. He replaced the steps then had the painstaking, time consuming task of finding a stain that would match the existing wood floor so i can install a stair runner on in the next couple of weeks.
The customer and i are extremely pleased with how well it turned out!!
