Essential terms you will know when you work with me.
C. F.A. - Cutting For Approval. It’s when we ask our vendor to send us a sample of a fabric we plan on ordering. It’s a way we can cross check what we are getting.
2. C.O.M - Customers Own Material. This allows us to order whatever fabric we want to totally customize your project.
3. F.F.&E. - Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment. Anything that’s been procured for the project goes into this category.
4. Elevation - a line drawing of a wall where there will be custom millwork. Think built-ins, bookcases, kitchens, bathrooms - any wall where there is going to be custom wood working. It’s a way to see what it’s going to like before it’s built.
