Ev and I will be there if he is feeling better in the morning! The storms took out our greenhouse but we have crochet plushies, and our soaps out! They make for perfect stocking stuffers🧦

I have to say, one of the best communities I've joined here in Jacksonville NC is the Onslow County Farmers' Market. I had to take a step back this year due to a few pregnancy related health problems, and the absolute insanity of being a new parent- but this community still came together to support me and each other during this craziness.
I won't be able to make it in person, but I wanted to shoutout a huge thank you to everyone for thinking of us and dropping this gift off❤️
I can't wait to get back when we get into the swing of being new parents!

Goodmorning Y’all, it’s Garden Tip Tuesday (just on Wednesday because of baby brain🤰!) 🥬🥦🍅

A lot of individuals use fertilizers which can be both expensive, and harmful to the environment. An alternative option is to use manure from your animals, whether that be goats, chickens, pigs, etc! Manure acts as a great fertilizer, and helps maintain a healthy, well balanced soil for your garden!

Good Morning Y’all!

We have noticed an increased amount of interest in a CSA/Farm Box. This would be a weekly subscription for our produce to fill your fridges with fresh in-season produce weekly, and help us with the costs of farm maintenance! 👩‍🌾

This is something that we would love to begin doing within the next week or so! If you are interested in a CSA Box/Farm Box send us a direct message and we will reach out to confirm your box! You can request boxes up to 4 weeks in advance! 🌱🌶

We will have up to 5 weekly boxes available, and sign-ups available beginning today! Our first box will be ready for pickup this Sunday April 30th and could consist of a few of the following (as available)
Tomatoes🍅, Tomatillos, Jalapeño🌶, Onions 🧅, Cilantro, Basil, Cabbage 🥬, Cucumbers 🥒, Lettuce, Eggs 🥚, and Broccoli 🥦

It will be $25 per week, $90 for 4 weeks (4boxes)!

We look forward to working with y’all, and as always will be at the Onslow County Farmers Market this Saturday from 8am-12pm with fresh produce and plants!

Quick Garden Tip Tuesday:
Plant Potatoes! They are a staple plant for any gardener looking to grow their own food. We have our potatoes in a large raised bed, but they can be grown in bags, buckets, and more! Potatoes are super easy to grow as well. In spring, when you have any potatoes (yes even store bought!), plant them with the eyes facing up towards the sky, fill with 2-4 inches of dirt and water away! After a few weeks you will see greenery. Every time the greenery gets to be a few inches tall, cover with more soil. Once you’re at the top of your container, allow the potato plants to die (brown) and harvest your potatoes! They are so simple and so rewarding!
