We picked up these adorable plants for our teachers for National Teacher Appreciation Week at Vintage Roots!

Tomorrow is “Bring a flower” day but, well, flowers die. These low-maintenance beauties are the ticket.

Thank you to all the teachers who help shape our children to be the best versions of themselves. We love you!

We got this little gem at an estate sale last weekend. We had BIG visions. Ivory paint wash, beautiful natural wood…We sanded the entire thing down. 3184621 hours later, we discovered 1. This piece was made of four different types/colors of wood and would NEVER look even, and 2. Holy tannin bleed through 😭😭😭

We tried to keep the wood, y’all. We really did. But we love how she turned out anyway! Shellac primer for the win (3281 coats of it).
