We ship a lot of plants bareroot. This is an example of really healthy bareroot plants! Look for long roots that appear hydrated and white. Bonus if they already have active grow; you know for sure they are viable and healthy. These hostas will leaf out quickly when they are planted.

Spotlighting the Proven Winners ‘My Monet’ weigela. Just arrived and I LOVE it! Bright foliage and a dwarf size, so it can shine in the front of the border. Great for small spaces and containers too! Right about now these are also covered with bright pink flowers that are striking against the foliage. Love. 👏 It. 👏

Hellebore rarely needs to be divided, but if they are looking overgrown or crowded, now is the time to separate them!

The Proven Winners Wine & Spirits Weigela gives straight up diva vibes. Hands down my new fav weigela. (Honorable mention to PW Czechmark Trilogy, my previous fav, and PW Wine & Roses, also full of drama.)

I like to keep this trimmed pretty tight so it looks bushy and neat each season, but if you like it sprawling in all its glory, do you. Grows to 3 - 5 feet tall and wide, so you need some room for this queen.

Believe it or not, I’m in zone 7 and this dahlia is IN BLOOM. I planted this tuber along with a few grown from seed in a big pot in the sunroom in late fall, and they have been growing indoors throughout the winter.

Strange, yes, but I wanted to (a) see if I could do it, (b) have dahlias whenever I feel like it, and (c) see if I could successfully root cuttings from my indoor plants and have MORE dahlias for spring and summer.

The verdict? Yes, yes, and yes! 🙌🙌🙌

The dahlias are rooted and waiting to go in pots… we have dahlias to adorn the dining table… and I get to enjoy these blooms months early!
