This award feels especially humbling because so much of this year was minimally photographed. There were thousands of micro moments within each of our clients’ journeys: phone calls, meetings, site walks, problem solving, and decisions long before the finished photos ever existed.
So to be recognized in this way feels more like a reminder of what we have built in our community. We’re deeply grateful for the family, friends, homeowners, builders, trades, vendors, and industry partners who see us, know us, trust us, and cheer us on. That means more than I can really put into words.
For the entrepreneurs out there, you probably know something about year three. Much like my daughter turning three, the growth seemed to happen in the blink of an eye. It was beautiful and stretching. There were moments of chaos, moments when structure and recentering were necessary, and moments when growing confidence made everything feel a little more colorful.
Over the past year, I also found myself jotting down little moments when I knew God was redirecting my eyes, resetting my pace, sparking my curiosity, and strengthening me while also softening me. Looking back now, there is a thread I cannot ignore.
7.27.25 — Boston
Within 24 hours, I went from standing in a spacious pasture on Martha’s Vineyard, watching sheep with their shepherd, to sitting in a friend’s church in Boston. There, Matthew 6:26–27 became the center of the message and, without me realizing it at the time, the central message of my year.
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”

11.22.25 — Eagle
While traveling to the Outer Banks for the holiday, an eagle soared across an open field right beside our vehicle. It was captivating enough to make me curious about eagles and the way they are designed.
