One of the unexpected gifts of getting into pottery has been the community that came with it.
It all started with Jess and the beautiful space sheās created through her pottery and yoga studio -What began as a creative outlet/hobby quickly introduced me to some incredibly talented makers, including and , and Iām so grateful for the friendships and inspiration that have come from it.
There is something special about a handmade piece that tells a story. Whether itās a favorite mug you reach for every morning or a serving bowl that becomes part of family gatherings, these pieces are made to be used, loved, and enjoyed for years.
As someone who appreciates both design and craftsmanship, Iām always drawn to makers who pour so much of themselves into what they create. Jess, Kristen, and Kate each have their own unique style, but what they share is an incredible talent, a commitment to their craft, and a genuine passion for creating beautiful things.
What I love most is that this little pottery community is about so much more than ceramics. Itās about creativity, connection, encouragement, and supporting one another along the way.
Weāre so fortunate to have talented makers like these in our community, and their work is definitely worth following, supporting, and sharing. š¤
