Happy 287th Birthday, Wilmington 🎉

We may not be quite that old… but Window Gang has proudly been serving this community since 1986.

For nearly four decades, we’ve had the privilege of helping Wilmington homes and businesses sparkle — through storms, pollen seasons, beach days, and everything in between.

We love this city. We love its people. And we’re grateful to play a small part in keeping it looking its best.

Today, Wilmington turns 287! 🥳🎉🎂

We were officially incorporated on Feb. 20, 1739.

Fun local trivia: before “Wilmington” stuck, our city answered to a few other names, including New Carthage, New Liverpool, New Town, and Newton.

And “Wilmington” itself? It honors Spencer Compton, the Earl of Wilmington (a British Prime Minister under King George II).

Glad it stuck. We definitely look like a Wilmington! 💙
