A kitchen revamp—not because it needed it, but because it wasn’t quite them. The original kitchen was lovely, but our homeowners wanted something that felt more custom, more collected, and more reflective of their style. BMI Designer Lindsay & BMI Cabinetry together reimagined the space with two-toned cabinetry, updated lighting, and a completely new approach to the breakfast nook. The biggest transformation? The island. What was once standard-height seating for two is now a custom drop-down extension that comfortably seats four—creating the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon tea, or an evening glass of wine and charcuterie with friends. BMI Designer Chris Groeschen upfitted the space with all-new furnishings and thoughtfully designed every detail, from the hard finishes and custom vanity to the lighting and kitchenette.
The open-concept bedroom features a beautifully integrated kitchenette with blue cabinetry, built-in drawer refrigerators, and a dedicated coffee station—proving that even a compact space can be both highly functional and beautifully considered.

Part 2 of this whole-home reveal takes you inside two of our favorite spaces—and the design decisions that made them possible.

The living room presented a unique challenge: creating comfortable seating for a family without overwhelming a smaller footprint. The solution? Soft curves, rounded silhouettes, thoughtful furniture placement, and durable performance fabrics and rugs that can stand up to everyday coastal living—from sandy feet to afternoons spent by the cocktail pool.

In the primary suite, our client envisioned a space that felt light, airy, and quietly luxurious. Custom wallpaper-wrapped furnishings, layered textiles, bespoke upholstery, and sumptuous bedding came together to create a retreat that feels as peaceful as it is elegant.
