Project Spotlight!

This roof had officially retired. We came in and gave this home a fresh upgrade built to handle the years ahead including rain, wind, heat, and everything else North Carolina likes to throw at it.

A good roof should do two things: protect your home and keep the buckets in the garage where they belong. Safe to say this one’s ready for the job!

When a roof leaks, the instinct is to blame the material. It’s newer, it’s visible, it’s the thing people paid for.

But in the vast majority of inspections we conduct, the shingles are doing their job just fine. The issue usually isn’t the product, it’s how it was installed, or the components around it that were overlooked or improperly executed.

Well, Wilson. We have an update on the new hires. 🐻🐻

Despite a formal apology, a come-to-Jesus meeting, and a very clear understanding of company policy, we found them out back. In the dumpsters. Covered in what appears to be lo mein. 🍜🗑️

HR has made a decision. They've been reassigned to the field, effective immediately. Their resumes did say they work best outside. We should have listened. 🧢 "

The guys cleaned everything up, disposed of the trash properly, looked us dead in the eye, and said they've learned their lesson. We're cautiously optimistic. Very cautiously. 🗑️

Their resumes said "extensive field experience," "highly familiar with Wilson home exteriors," "well-rounded," and 'not afraid to get dirty." Who were we to argue?
