This came up in a memory recently.... Halaut Consulting Security Solutions...always ready to PIVOT and ADAPT when needed!!!
"Work must go on. In these times of uncertainty across the country perimeter security needs are always imperative for businesses and gov't especially in high security locations. I have to be in Georgia this week to complete a high-profile project and will be there for 10 days. With all of the shut downs schools, restaurants, flights, potentially being told to quarantine in place how do you make this happen. For 30 years, my normal was fly in, get a rental car, grab a hotel and complete the mission. When you are home it is easy to know where you can go and where you can't go and to know how and what is the best way to get around. When you are in a new place and new area not so much.
Solution - become self-contained, instead of flying in I am driving to Georgia, no rental car necessary, I will have my truck. instead of a hotel, I have rented an RV, complete with Solar and Propane for off the grid needs, if necessary. I can pack all the essentials not just minimal, stock the fridge and freezer with food and drink, and more importantly keep myself and all of the officers and staff I will be working with safe knowing I was not in public places which could infect myself and potentially them. It might take me a little bit longer to accomplish the mission but rest assured I will accomplish it.
