Before and After

This project is still ongoing but wanted to share some of the changes made so far.
The old exterior wall was removed and the new wall bumped out 3’ housing an oversized sliding glass door and window over the sink. Removed the pantry, wet bar and 2 internal walls opening the space up.

Update of an ongoing addition.
The exterior is complete. Hardie siding and trim installed and painted to match the existing house colors. Private balcony made of rough cut Red Cedar with stainless steel wire rope for the railings.
Next step, phase 2 of the project will include electrical and plumbing along with insulation. Then phase 3 will be Sheetrock, trim, bathroom build and so on.

After 3 new beams in the attic this space has evolved from a small dark kitchen space (that included a wet bar), along with a separate dining room with a tray ceiling. Rear wall that had 9 different angles has been replaced with a new straight wall and over sized window and sliding glass door.
