We just finished the super fun project. To be more period appropriate of this beautiful Victorian home in Old Town Wi******er the home owner wanted to convert the vinyl siding to wood. The new siding will be getting a coat of paint soon. I being a fan of working on old homes couldn’t wait to help.

🔨 Planning a renovation? Demo comes first.

Demolition isn’t just “tearing things out.” There are electrical wires, plumbing lines, HVAC, and sometimes load-bearing walls hidden behind those surfaces. One wrong move can create serious (and expensive) problems.

✔️ Utilities must be identified
✔️ Load-bearing walls must be evaluated
✔️ Floors and surrounding areas must be protected
✔️ Dust control is critical — especially in historic homes
✔️ Debris needs proper haul-off or a dumpster on site

A clean, controlled demo sets the tone for a smooth remodel.
