I have been very fortunate to work on so many unique projects through the year. I’ve learned new skills, practiced what I know, and set my mind on learning something every day (mistakes are still my best teachers..) while striving to put out the absolute best quality work I am capeable of doing. This room represents almost all of that, or all of it if you include the bit of vanity you see in the bathroom. From meticulous repair work and prep, finishing carpentry, restoring trim, painting cabinetry, painting everything from the ceiling to the shoe moulding, and hanging wallpaper, this represents everything I am professionally proud of. Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me in to their homes/projects and allowed me to be a part of them. It means the world to me 🖤

On a roll (get it?) this week, wrapping up the second floor of a townhouse for the homeowners getting ready to welcome their new baby in a couple weeks! This one was mostly Standish White with a custom mixed green and Scuff X white satin on the trim, all all day long.

Shot some Avon Green on this console table over the weekend. Prep began a few days ago with many hours of careful cleaning and sanding due to the fragile and thin layer of veneer on the original piece, the new backing board is a repurposed butcher block installed before it came to my shop. After filling in some damages and priming with and sanding down nice and smooth the final coat laid down like butter bright and early this morning, with a good cup of coffee and the neighborhood waking up it was a real nice way to start a Sunday! -also cheers to the driving school instructor who has his teenage student slow down so he could yell at the kids kicking a rock down the middle of the street with their headphones in…”kind, but firm, road rage” is a skill my instructor didn’t offer.

Another kitchen and living space update knocked out this week in Timid White (walls) and Silver Marlin (cabinets) for an updated and modern look. If you’re interested in refreshing your space hit me up and let’s get it done! I’m taking new projects and clients in October and the fall is a perfect time to get things looking the way you want before we settle in to the winter!

As our year comes to an end and the sentimentality of the season settles in I feel very grateful for, and supported by, our community.
