Choosing between warm and cool flooring tones depends on whether you want to create a cozy, traditional space or a modern, serene environment.

For 2026, trends are heavily favoring natural, warm wood tones like honey, caramel, and light oak, which are replacing the cool grays of previous years.

How to Decide: Analyze Natural Light:

For a dark room, consider warm; if there is plenty of natural light, cool can work well.

Wait! There is more! VDF offers a lifetime warranty on their flooring with very few stiplulations. One of those stipulations is when you are installing on concrete. When installing on concrete, it is recommended to first lay down a v***r barrier. We offer 250 sq ft rolls of 6 mil poly underlayment at $36.23/41.40 and 300 ft roll 41.40/40.00 per roll.
