We are working quickly to finalize the last of our planing regarding the Demolition of 71 South Main Street in Wi******er KY. The schedule for this project is as follows:

Closure of Lexington Ave from Main Street to Church Alley beginning on February 12th and will remain Closed until at the latest March 1st. We hope that we will not need this entire block of time but also want to be realistic and have the appropriate amount of time to handle unforeseen obstacles.

Main Street will remain open during this project. On February 15th the crew will begin the demolition of the structure and on this day the parking spaces and North Bound Lane in front of 71 South Main Street will be closed to limit the risks to public safety. Two way traffic will continue by use of a lane shift into the turn lanes. After February 15th traffic will return to its normal flow on Main Street. Please reference the attached map.

I know that this is not going to be ideal for anyone or any business but we have worked diligently to create a work plan to minimize the impact to neighborhood and to the community while still prioritizing public safety and the safety of our work crews .

Please take note, as diligent as we have been in planning this project out, the dates may forcefully need to be adjusted. If this was to occur we will do our best to keep as many up to date as possible. Thank you for your patience during this temporary inconvenience for a long term solution.
