The older I get, the more I realize I’m basically turning into a garage door opener.

A little slower in the mornings… making some interesting noises… sagging in places I didn’t know could sag… and occasionally refusing to work unless someone presses my buttons just right.

The difference is, when an old garage door opener starts showing signs of wear and tear, people replace it. When I start showing signs of wear and tear, I just buy a bigger shirt and pretend everything is fine.

The winding driveway, perfectly manicured grounds, and water on both sides—before I even unload a tool, you know it’s going to be a great day. Properties like this remind me why I love what I do. Every job is different, every customer has a story, and sometimes the drive in is almost as impressive as the finished garage doors.
