❄️ Cold Weather Safety Reminder for Winnie ❄️

With a hard freeze expected this weekend, a few simple steps can help protect your home, HVAC system, and plumbing:

🔥 Airflow matters — and it’s a safety issue
Change or check your air filter
-Make sure all vents are open and unobstructed
-Don’t close off rooms to “save heat” — restricted airflow can cause systems to overheat and become a fire hazard
-Keep outdoor units clear of debris

🚰 Protect your pipes
-Open cabinet doors under sinks to allow warm air in
-Let faucets drip slowly when temperatures drop below freezing
-Know where your main water shutoff is, just in case
-Keep your thermostat set to a steady temperature, even overnight

• Wednesday–Friday: Closed (we still have an on-call technician available for emergencies!)

We had the best time at Christmas in the Park this weekend. From the smiling kids to the waves, laughs, and holiday cheer — it meant so much to be part of it.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported local businesses, and helped make it such a special night for our community. We’re grateful to call this place home. ❤️

Happy Friday, y’all!
We woke up to some cold, gloomy weather (44°… rude 😅), but it’s going to warm up nicely this weekend — sunshine and 70s on the way. Texas really said “winter AND spring in the same week.”

With the weather jumping all over the place, your system ends up doing a little extra juggling too. If you’ve been running the heater in the mornings and shutting it off by lunchtime, just make sure your filter’s in good shape. Little things like that keep everything running smooth through these up-and-down days.

And as always — if something starts acting funny, or you’re just not sure what your system is trying to tell you, we’ll be around. Phones are always answered, even outside office hours.

When the cold hits and the heaters kick on, the humidity in your home drops fast.
If you’ve noticed:
• dry nose or throat
• static shocks
• dry skin
• waking up stuffy

Boil a pot of water on the stove for a little while to put moisture back into the air.

If your heater hasn’t kicked on in a while, today’s the day it’ll get a workout. A few quick tips:

• Change that air filter — today is perfect for it
• Don’t close vents (it stresses your heater + raises fire risk)
• Keep outdoor units clear of leaves and debris

We’ve got a busy family week ahead, so here’s how things will look:

📌 Tuesday: Closed for a family wedding 💍
📌 Wednesday: Closed (someone has to cook ... 👀😅)
📌 Thursday: Closed for Thanksgiving 🦃
📌 Friday: Closed… because after all that, we’ll need a nap 😴

💙 BUT don’t worry — we’re still here for emergencies!

✔️ One tech on call Tue–Fri
✔️ Heating emergencies only (no regular maintenance)

If your heater quits during the holidays, we’ll still come save the day.
We just won’t fix your turkey. 😄
