And he's off! Just like riding a bike or a sod cutter.....Roger has officially kicked off our 49th year in business! Sod season 2026 has started! For the returning customers, same procedures as before. For the newbies, welcome!
Here are the stats: Each roll is a square yard, approximately 6 foot long by 18 inches wide or 9 square feet (take your length x width and divided by 9 to get the rolls you need). Each roll is $3.75 a roll and that INCLUDES the sales tax! Minimum roll order is one, so small orders welcomed. We don't do pallets or delivery, you load them yourself into your truck or trailer with your own muscle power, or with the help of your supportive friends, family, acquaintances, or neighbor kid with the can do attitude, so then we can keep roll costs low so it's you load and haul. We don't cut orders until you call us and place your order at the farm, we don't keep stuff cut and rolled, so each order is custom cut fresh for you. Call the farm 507.452.2126 (7 days a week, weather permitting), to place your order and payment is cash or check only (again to keep costs low). Once you've confirmed your rolls and time to come see The Sod Roger in his natural habitat, our address is at 24315 County Road 9 Winona.
