This Bitting Road kitchen got a full gut renovation in collaboration with .

We removed the tile flooring, cabinets, countertops, backsplash, plumbing fixtures, appliances (+ walls around the refrigerator) to make way for a completely reimagined space.

The new design features custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, a stylish backsplash, and high-performance appliances. We also installed dimmable LED recessed lighting, oak hardwood floors with matching stained shoe molding, and finished it all off with fresh paint on the ceilings, walls, and trim.

Thoughtful architectural changes by made a big impact on the exterior and second floor of this Buena Vista home. What started as a tight layout is now expanded, elevated, and more functional — all while preserving the original charm of this 1920s build.

We wrapped up a major exterior renovation and addition in collaboration with Friend, including:
🏠 A two-story rear and side addition (~1,460 SF) to create more room for connection, comfort, and function
🔨 Structural upgrades and a new foundation wrapped in brick veneer to mirror the existing home
📐 Gable and dormer rooflines that bring light and headroom while tying in seamlessly
🪟 Custom windows and doors to improve flow and natural light
🧱 Residing and trim updates to unify the old and new
🌿 A refreshed deck and new exterior stairs for better outdoor living

In Winston-Salem’s Buena Vista neighborhood, the creek that runs behind many homes has been the setting for generations of childhood adventures. Creek hopping, scooping up tadpoles, and “fishing” on long summer afternoons were all part of the experience.

For the homeowner here, this backyard holds those exact memories. She grew up exploring this creek and wanted to bring back the bridge that once connected both sides of her childhood world.

We rebuilt the bridge with that vision in mind, updating its structure while preserving its place in the landscape. It is once again a path through the trees and a quiet tribute to the past.

The primary bathroom in our Buena Vista Road project received a full layout rework as part of a larger whole-home renovation designed with .⁠

We reconfigured the space to improve flow and functionality, creating room for:

▪️ New tile throughout
▪️ Fresh drywall in place of dated materials
▪️ Updated lighting and ceiling fan
