Elegance in simplicity was the driving force behind this 20'0"x28'0" corrugated metal workshop. The goal was to create a structure that not only would meet restrictive zoning requirements, but could easily be built by the client. The design was optimized to efficiently work around the 4x8 plywood sheet standard, and minimize waste, cladding the structure in corrugated metal siding that would ensure durability and low maintenance.

Happy to see this project start. The design is unique, placing the public areas of the house on the second floor to maximize the amazing views of the skyline from the site. Large balconies and covered decks create a great connection between the indoors and outdoors.

Although not large in scale, this project is special. One of the most rewarding parts of this job is to be able to work with and for friends and neighbors. We live being able to make a difference in our own community. And this project checks both boxes. We have loved being able to help two of the neighbors who welcomed us into the community, and have advocated for us as a business and as individuals, but most importantly, made us feel at home in NC.
