Happy New Year!

Projects this week included repairing multiple devices that were damaged by leaving batteries in them for far too long, resulting in corrosion damage to the battery terminals. We have so many small batteries in our homes these days and it’s really hard to keep up with them all. This technology from Samsung seems very promising as a way to not only reduce batteries in our waste stream but also reduce the cost of repairing or replacing damaged equipment! Thanks Samsung!

Customer bought these beautiful fixtures to elevate the master bedroom closet. Existing fixtures were a pair of basic fluorescent fixtures. Removing those fixtures revealed uneven drywall patchwork from the addition of those fixtures. Sanding and reworking that ceiling was not feasible based on closet full of clothes and limited time. Soo....1x12 boards with routered edges covered those drywall sins and gave a custom woodwork look to the ceiling. Added benefit- customer chose smart and sustainable LED bulbs instead of the standard inefficient halogens.
