Old homes have character — but old boiler manifolds can take up a LOT of valuable basement space 👀

We’re out in Alexandria updating a home with original piping dating back to the 1920s. By removing bulky manifold piping and converting portions of the system to modern hydronic PEX, we’re creating more headroom and opening up the basement for future finishing possibilities.

A lot of homeowners think they’re stuck with outdated piping layouts in older homes, but there are often great options to modernize the system and reclaim usable space. 💡
