This week our residents took part in a special Memorial Day dedication activity. Together, we created and dedicated flags in honor of the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

As we worked on our flags, we shared stories, reflected on the sacrifices made by service members and their families, and discussed the importance of remembering those who gave everything for our country. You can find flags throughout our patio and in residents rooms.

From all of us at Prelude, we wish everyone a meaningful Memorial Day as we honor, remember, and give thanks.🇺🇸❤️

Our patio is starting to look like summer here at Prelude Memory Care! ☀️🌿 Residents had so much fun painting pavers, and thanks to the generosity of our amazing families, our patio is filling with beautiful plants and decorations.

We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to all the families who donated their time, creativity, and love of gardening to help make this space so special for our residents. 💚

We still have more pots to fill and room for additional decorations! If you have any plants, flowers, garden décor, or outdoor decorations you’d like to donate, we would be so grateful. 🌸🪴

Happy Mother’s Day! This year we honored all our mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and aunts that we have at Prelude with a special tea. Thank you to our amazing chef Vanessa for an incredible menu. What a great way to celebrate!

Come shop with us and see the impact of your generosity! The garage sale will be held at our Woodbury location 10018 Raleigh Rd. Woodbury, MN 55129 on May 8th and 9th from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM. Bring a friend, find great treasures, and help support programs that bring smiles to our residents every day.

All proceeds directly support our Life Enrichment Department, helping us provide special experiences for our residents such as petting zoos, live entertainment, engaging activities, and other programs that enhance their daily wellbeing and joy!

Throwback Thursday:

We brought the luck of the Irish into our kitchens this St. Patrick’s Day 🍀✨

Our talented cooks went head-to-head in a friendly competition, whipping up their best dishes while residents and Prelude staff cast their votes. The creativity (and deliciousness) did not disappoint!

A huge congratulations to Vanessa from WBLE for taking home the win! 🏆💚 Thank you to everyone who participated, tasted, and made it such a fun and memorable day!
