A recent project in which we installed glue down 5" unfinished engineered Red Oak over concrete (basement remodel). The stairs had to be torn down, raised, extended, leveled and reinforced. After that we built and finished with beautiful red oak treads and risers (solid, unfinished) to match the engineered flooring, along with skirts to match and fit moldings the customer had selected.
