EZ Plans is a professional services organization offering fast, cost effective architectural drafting and related services to homeowners, designers, contractors and other professionals in the home improvement segment of the building industry. The company was founded on the belief that many homeowners are being excluded from realizing their home improvement dreams because of a few basic misconcepti

ons. Architectural services are critical in any building project, but it is not necessary to commit tens of thousands of dollars to obtain plans. Architectural fees based on a percentage of the project cost, are not fair or appropriate for all projects. This is particularly true for most smaller, less complicated, home improvement projects. EZ Plans pricing is process based, transparent, and very easy to understand. You know exactly what you're paying for and you only pay for the services you need. Today's homeowners are more personally involved in their home improvement projects and often act as owner builder, or engage with contractors directly. It is not true that the regular on-site presence of an architect is legally required or necessary to ensure the success of a project. Most architects include some site visits in their contracts, but those visits are typically so limited as to have no real impact on the outcome of the project. The simple to follow plan of action offered by EZ Plans gives you the tools to make the right decisions at the right price. The architectural profession as a whole acknowledges these issues, but has largely chosen to ignore them in pursuit of larger more profitable projects. EZ Plans provides architectural services to the large community of deserving homeowners who remain badly underserved.
