Down to Earth Electric is looking to hire a quality Licensed JW Inside Wireman. I need an electrician that is as good, if not better than me. I’m kind of a legend in this field so you need to have the skills to pay the bills. My business has been 99% word of mouth and boy has the word traveled fast. Our reputation is what has put so much work on our plate (definitely not the fact that there are not enough electricians out there) so I need someone that can work to that standard of excellence.
Must haves:
- Positive attitude.
o We aren’t plumbers so there should be nothing to complain about.
- Coachable.
o Can you take advice or direction from a millennial if he/she is qualified to lead?
- Produce quality work and pay attention to detail.
o This is why my phone keeps blowing up.
- Efficient.
o Plan your work, work your plan.
- Comfortable teaching an apprentice and verbally assaulting them if necessary. Proceed with caution though, my apprentice can probably fit your whole head in his hand…
- Leave your messes for the carpenters to clean up (just kidding, you WILL be trained in the art of cleaning up after yourself).
- Customer friendly.
o Are customers comfortable with you in their home?
- Hygiene.
o We can afford soap and deodorant, use it.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Preferably NOT color blind.
- Licensed in Washington.
Wages are negotiable based on experience and quality of work.
Down to Earth electric is a small company that mostly does residential work and deals with some commercial. We value our customers, and our customers value us. We are looking for someone highly skilled with a friendly personality who will fit into our team. If you like Milwaukee tools, you will likely do just fine. If you use Ryobi, don’t even apply.
