Time to paint this old Streng home. It was definitely in need of lots of love after 20+ years since it was last painted. Some of the exposed beam ends were badly decayed and required lots of Bondo to restore them to their original size and shape.

Check out the patio cover I just upgraded. Removed the old dilapidated slats, painted the old rafters and posts, and covered with corrugated steel. The topside of the steel panels were painted white before installing to keep them from getting hot in the summer sun. Nice beachy upgrade!

Check out the garage I just converted into a music studio. I insulated, sheetrocked, and textured the walls. I used 2” foam insulation board to fashion the ceiling and covered it with soundproof tiles. 6 inch can lights were also installed. The old aluminum-framed window was replaced with a double-panes slider. Extra outlets were added. The client plans to install carpet and paint the walls to finish it off. Hopefully I’ll be invited over to jam once it’s all done!
