This Friday is youth night so be sure to high five the little wolverines strutting to the concession stand in their jerseys. Well today is Friday and most of us are more fired up than a new BMW battery plant….. speaking of fires with our new neighbors- if you need our services go ahead and schedule them today before the hazmat team shuts us down due to “nearby thermal events”.

It’s not the heat that gets to you these days, it’s the constant reminder that we need another grocery store in woodruff on all the pages… we live in this town, we shop here, we work here. We are actually local, not a big private equity company, we’ve been here for 35 years and seen all the growth. I think I agree with everyone honking; another grocery store won’t hurt. As August comes to an end we all look forward to football (all ages), campfires, various hunting seasons, and fall festivals…. Unlucky for us here in South Carolina, we get to enjoy the pumpkin patch with 95 heat and a side of fire ants. As much as we wanted Jett’s football number to be 72, he’s was just as proud to stand beside our logo at W.L Varner stadium.

One thing we see more than anything else around our small town of woodruff, are these Coach Varner bottles sitting perfectly preserved in attics, crawlspaces and garage shelves. With our wolverines playing in the home opener tonight we wish them them the best of luck this season.
