Spent the fall months of 2025 disassembling and restoring almost the entire roof assembly on this circa 1880s bank barn with . Most of the roof rafters were removed due to excessive sag, rot, and the need for access to replace some of the heavy timber purlins and plates. Red and white oak was used for the replacement rafters and beams sawn at a nearby mill. The large ornate cupola was removed and restored on the ground, then craned back into place once the roof frame was completed. All fascia was replaced and painted with linseed oil paint. The standing seam roofing was installed in a historic fashion with cross seams and hand crimped. 6” half round gutters were also installed.
