Can an older commercial roof support solar panels? The answer is often yes.

Building and roof age alone do not determine whether a property is suitable for solar. Roof condition, remaining service life, structural capacity, drainage, rooftop equipment and usable space all need to be evaluated first.

During every commercial solar assessment, Energo evaluates the roof’s condition and identifies work that may be needed. If roof replacement is necessary, we coordinate it as part of the solar project. That helps avoid installing a new solar system only to remove it for roof work several years later.
