My 26th birthday just passed.. on May 26th!
For my GOLDen birthday, I thought I should paint myself some gold foil balloons.
I had a lot of fun, playing with the shades, the metallic paint, the shiny details.... Often needing to take some literal steps back to make sure the painting looked 'just right'.

Hi there!

My name is Mads. I like to say I'm an educator by day, and an artist "whenever I have time".

On the average work day, I'm a paraprofessional for the hard of hearing/deaf. Typically I'm with elementary kids.

This school year has been so busy, confusing, complicated, and chaotic. Both at work and home.

The chaos doesn't stop for anybody.

So, I was happy to use any free time I had to be creative. Most times it was WITH students, during art class or when I would work alongside them completing the same project.

So as my very first post, I'm giving you my 2024 school year DOODLES.
