We regret to announce that the Wonder Lake Farmer and Makers Market scheduled for today, June 10, 2026, has been canceled.

Please know that this decision was not made lightly. Over the past few days, we have been closely monitoring the weather conditions, and while it is currently sunny, the increasing wind speeds are a major concern.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for our area, citing several rounds of severe thunderstorms expected throughout the day. The main threats include damaging to destructive winds with potential speeds up to 75 mph, large hail up to 1 inch in diameter, and a minimal risk of tornadoes. Given these risks, we believe it is in everyone's best interest to prioritize safety and cancel today's market.

The baby ducks are growing quickly and enjoying their time foraging in their pasture. Their little peeps are the sweetest.

After a brief break, the farm stand is open! We’ve been busy planting, weeding, and setting up new structures to protect our crops. We are eagerly waiting for our peonies to bloom. They are our favorite—shh, don’t tell the other flowers 🤫

The big dahlia plant is on! This year, we're planting the most tubers we've ever planted. With the new flower field, we hope to expand our dahlia collection and improve our storage success. Here’s to hoping and happy planting! 🌱

After the busyness of Mother’s Day, we’ve been steadily working to keep the farm on schedule for this season. I’ve realized it’s often a matter of catching up, and that’s perfectly fine. Tasks will be completed as time allows.

This past week, we marked out new flower beds, mulched the pathways, cleaned the coops, watched sunsets, watered the plants, weeded, and did even more weeding! Oh, and welcomed 13 ducklings to the farm thanks to Lundahl Middle School!
