You wouldn't even think of hiring a mechanic to work your car that never went to school to learn how to work on your brand of car? Probably not. Unfortunately this is the case with many contractors.

You often see that a COMPANY is a certified installer of X Products. What you don't know is that certification is often not held by the actual installers installing the product!

At Peachtree Decks and Porches, we take exceptional pride in the knowledge that our installation crews are ALL INDIVIDUALLY certified to install the products we use in YOUR project.

What this means to you, as a client, is that the person driving the screws actually KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. It is often the case, they do not. This protects your project and guarantees the warranty will hold up should you ever need to call on it.

Our crews just completed MANDATORY product certification conducted by the manufacturers themselves at our office. Our crews must take a written test afterwards to guarantee they learned the material and they receive a certificate upon completion.

They must retake and pass this test EVERY SIX MONTHS or they can't work with us.

Here you will see our team receiving training from TimberTech and Deckorators today and them proudly showing off their certification certificates from passing the written tests.

We are proud of the guys investing in themselves to build the best projects we can build.

Most outdoor kitchens are built around appliances.

The best outdoor kitchens are built around people.

Where conversations happen.

Where guests gather naturally.

Where the host stays part of the experience instead of disappearing inside.

That is the difference between adding a feature.

And creating a destination.

What would make an outdoor kitchen feel complete for your family?

What you never see on a finished deck: the four hours we spend on dirt.

Before a single board goes down, we're out there with a laser level, string lines, and a post-hole digger fighting Georgia red clay. Footing depth, slope away from the house for drainage - that's the part that decides whether your deck is dead level in year ten or starting to lean.

Nobody posts a photo of a perfectly poured footing. But it's the reason the fun stuff lasts.

That's the difference between a deck and a deck that holds up.

A composite deck board sitting in full Georgia sun can hit 160F. That's hot enough to fry an egg - and hot enough to send bare feet running.

Here's what most homeowners don't hear at the showroom: color and shade matter more than brand. A light gray board can run 20-30F cooler than a dark espresso one in the same yard. Add a pergola or a strategic shade sail and you knock off more.

Booking summer builds now. DM us your yard's sun situation and we'll talk through the coolest setup for it.

Picture this:

A backyard in Roswell. The existing deck is weathered, the boards are soft in the middle, and the railing fails the shake test. The homeowner’s been living with it for two years because “it’s still standing.”

We started a new building this spring.

By the time Marcos finishes laying down the last decking board this week, that same backyard will look like a completely different property.

Same footprint. New everything else. New framing, new composite decking, new railing system, new stairs, built right, with permits pulled and inspections passed.

The transformation isn’t just cosmetic. It’s structural. It’s safe. It’s something they’ll use for 20+ years without thinking twice.

That’s the job. That’s why we do it.

Photos are coming soon. You’ll want to see this one.

Here’s something customers almost never see:

We had thunderstorms roll through the Atlanta area this week. Multiple job sites. The kind of storms where you think, “nobody’s working today.”

Our crews were working.

Framing doesn’t always have to stop for rain. Concrete footings get protected. Materials get staged under cover. A good crew knows the difference between “we can push through this” and “we need to stop for safety.” And they adjust.

Right now we have crews in Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Woodstock, multiple active builds at once. Rain weeks are part of May in Georgia. You build systems around it.

This is the part of construction management that never shows up in the project photos, but it’s what separates a project that finishes on time from one that doesn’t.

When’s the last time you actually used your backyard?

Not walked through it. Not glanced at it from the kitchen window. Actually, used it, grilled out, sat with a drink, hosted friends, let the kids loose.

For many Atlanta homeowners, the answer is: not recently. And it usually comes down to one thing, there’s no good space out there to anchor it all.

That’s what we do. We build the place that makes your backyard the place you actually want to be.

We’re running 42 active projects across the Atlanta area right now, Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell, Woodstock, Suwanee, and more. Spring is flying by.

If this is the summer you finally want to love your outdoor space, now’s the time to get on the schedule. Link in bio to start a conversation.

Sometimes one conversation clears up months of uncertainty.

What is possible.

What is realistic.

What matters most.

And whether the company you are talking to actually understands the kind of home you have.

That kind of clarity is valuable even before a project starts.

Because the right next step should feel obvious.

What questions would you want answered before deciding who to invite out to your home?

At a certain point, homeowners stop looking for a contractor.

They start looking for the one they can trust with the whole experience.

The design.

The planning.

The communication.

The build.

And the finished result they have to live with for years.

That is a different standard.

And once you see the difference clearly, it gets harder to take the category at face value.

What has made it hardest for you to feel sure about who to trust?

A lot of homeowners think they still have plenty of time.

Then the season gets away from them.

Another round of good weather passes.

Another stretch of weekends gets spent talking about the project instead of enjoying it.

The right time to start is usually earlier than people think.

Not because of pressure.

Because good projects deserve room to be planned well.

What season of life are you hoping your outdoor space will be ready for?
