A very happy new client gained today in Bull Valley... dual ceiling area repairs with one being 20' high. Client not only happy with the result, but in our consultation on performing multiple other small jobs during the process saving them money ultimately... (ceiling repair is a multi-stage process... removal of affected areas, retaping joints, mudding, wait to dry (hours), sand, mud again, wait to dry, sand, sometimes a third mudding, prime, wait to dry, paint). So, in between stages of process, we did some siding & trim touchup painting on the exterior, essentially for free, as we would be charging more for the ceiling repair if we were leaving, coming back, etc. Smart, happy clients... 😉. Will be returning for additional work on other items noticed while there.

Cedar siding repair. Added diverted "kick out" flashing to prevent water from running down the side of the house causing the boards to rot. Be careful of who you hire to do your roof, as the company that did this roof failed to flash it properly.

Geneva bath complete remodel. Ceramic plank floor and baseboards, subway tile, custom shower niche (utilizing the plank flooring on the sides and round mosaic in the back which really tied the shower into the room), brushed nickel tile rail, new vanity, countertop, sink, faucet, toilet, shower set, mirror (removed builders mounted mirror), lights, high volume fan unit and a full prime and repaint color change (walls and ceiling).

Kitchen update. Built faux cabinet to replace builder's out of code microwave installation, new microwave (as the other was literally "cooked" being placed less than 10" from the cooktop), installed under cabinet lighting, and natural stone travertine with a "pinstripe" of alternate stone at the cabinet line.

A very challenging job on a 112 yr old house that not only had 3/4" plywood covering the original Tongue & Groove flooring, but had also been moved to its current location in the 1980's where some of the support columns were placed on top of the plywood and others not, causing severe substructure warping. Always a challenge working on old homes, never know what you'll find until you dig in! Enjoy! (Stain masking has since been removed)

Got a "thumbs up" and wink from The City of Woodstock today on a back flow prevention system I installed on a 100+ yr old house for a local property management company... Property has had issues with failed solutions for 5 years prior...
