The Warehouse Courtyard project, rebranded as Urban 501 during the design phase, is a renovation of an historic warehouse lot into a Tier 1 wedding and event venue. The design is an expression of materiality composed of cedar, steel, concrete, and lighting working together to deliver a uniquely intimate yet open space for gatherings. The final product is a sophisticated solution through simplicity. Exposed connections, fasteners, and raw concrete formwork enhance the historic industrial nature of the site and push material honesty to the forefront.

The Title Office and Solid Waste District Building, completed last summer, is the new home for the two agencies in Crawford County, Ohio. Working with Studer Obringer Construction out of New Washington, Ohio the building, split symmetrically between the two offices, was designed and constructed with the intent of having minimal maintenance. Long life-span materials such as the fenestration, insulation systems, interior finishes and utility equipment are some examples of how the county commissioners were focused on longevity, responsible public investment, and overall building performance.
