Summer means hosting season is officially here. ☀️🍹Graduation parties, cookouts, family reunions, 4th of July plans — all great things.

A plumbing issue five minutes before guests show up? Not so great.

Before the house fills up, it’s worth doing a quick check on the things that get the most use:

🚽 Toilet flushing properly
🚰 Kitchen sink draining correctly
🗑️ Garbage disposal working
💧 Outdoor spigot ready for coolers, hoses, and sprinklers
♨️ Water heater keeping up

And if something on the party prep list is not cooperating, you know who to call!

🎤 SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Aaron Buczek 💰

Part 2 of my conversation with Aaron Buczek of North Atlantic Investment Partners / Raymond James is all about his involvement with the Norfolk Small Business Association and how the NSBA helps support local businesses throughout our community.

📚 This year’s fundraiser raised $9,000, with a portion going back to the Norfolk PTO and the rest helping the NSBA continue its work supporting small businesses in Norfolk, Wrentham, and the surrounding area.

That’s the part people may not always see.

The Norfolk MA Small Business Association is not just about one event. It’s about helping local businesses grow, connect, serve their community, and continue making a difference for the people who live and work here.

It was one heck of a season for this Pirates crew. ⚾️

Not the ending they wanted, but these boys worked hard, showed up, battled through the championship series and gave all of their family and friends a lot to be proud of.

Coaching is something I love more than just about anything. Watching my son Andrew and these boys grow, compete, support each other, and have fun is what it’s all about.

Big congrats to the Pirates on an incredible season. 💛🖤

And because baseball never really ends around here, summer league starts Friday. ☀️ Let’s go!

🚽 Most toilet problems don’t start as emergencies.

They usually start with something small: a toilet that runs a little longer than normal, clogs more often than it used to, or leaves a little water around the base. 🪠

As a licensed plumber, I’ve installed and repaired thousands of toilets over the years. Here are 5️⃣ warning signs that could indicate a bigger plumbing issue if left unchecked.

A quick repair today is often a lot easier (and less expensive) than dealing with water damage or a major plumbing problem later.

🎥 SMALL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Copper City Espresso ☕(pt.2)

One of the things I appreciate most about being a small business owner is getting to work alongside other local businesses that care about the community.

For the last two years, Copper City Espresso has partnered with us to help provide breakfast for teachers, faculty, and staff at Delaney School. It’s a simple way to say thank you to the people who do so much for local families every day.

Kev and I talked about why supporting your community matters, the impact local partnerships can have, and how small businesses can work together to make a difference.
