Flashing/siding getting started

Drywall installed and finishing about to be complete

Trim and interior doors delivered and ready to install after flooring, flooring delivery and install to start on Tuesday or Wednesday after a big clean and securing any subfloor in existing house to remove floor squeaks

Secondary shower walls installed

HVAC final hookup on Monday

Front sidewalk removed and front door opening widened for new custom super-door

Walk-in shower Kerdi-board installed, waterproofing will be on the next rain day

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC is 7 weeks in to our addition project. We have been blessed with several weeks of great weather, so naturally as soon as the roof gets started we would have diabolical heat followed by 7 days of rain!

Toughed-out the heat Monday and Tuesday to get the black standing seam panels installed on the addition, we will do a final crimp around the sides and end once all of the panels are installed, when the snowbirds go on.

Standing seam metal roofing is considered one of the longest lasting types of roof, and these panels carry a 40 year manufacturer warranty. They also happen to be quite stylish, in our opinion.

Plumbing and Electrical rough-ins are now completed, and the inspections for framing and mechanical rough-ins were completed just in time for the holiday.

Inspection for insulation and fire-proofing is scheduled for this coming Tuesday, then as soon as the exisiting roof seam panels are installed we have free reign to hang drywall throughout the house!!

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC is starting to get get bricked up at the addition!

Murray Masonry is killing it on the bricklaying, and should finish up after Memorial Day with the first story addition bricks. They will be toothed into the existing first story bricks for a seamless perimeter. Once the brick is finished, we can start on the siding.

We are on the last of the framing (soffits etc)

All windows (minus one garage and one add-on) have been installed, including the amazing Trapezoid windows in the addition vaulted ceiling. Stressful to install, wondrous to behold.

Miselberger is wrapping up install of ductwork for the new addition and install of a new heat pump and AC for both the addition space and existing space, no mini-splits for this addition.

Roofing materials are in, and the addition roof is first on the priorities for install of this standing seam roof.

Framing and Rough-in inspections set for this Friday, looking forward to hanging some drywall this coming week

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC Progress pics from week 5 at the addition. Windows and ground floor patio door installed in the addition, all interior walls (minus closets) are up and the bricks will be getting started soon!

Swapping existing house windows during plumbing and electric rough-ins this week, finishing the recessed subfloor for the curbless walk in shower area.

Finally had a chance to take final photos at our Elizabethtown Bathroom!! The homeowners have been enjoying it for several weeks!

This was a really fun project. This couple had the idea to change their standard 80's bathroom by adding a freestanding tub. The original thought was to put the tub at the end of the room, and keep the shower in its current location.

Abby worked with them on designs and layout, striving for the best balance of flow and functionality.

The end result was a space that meets the needs of this family, and still provides the elegance and flow they were striving to achieve.

Drains were rerouted across the room, the baseboard heater was moved into the toekick of the vanity to provide space.

The baseboard trim, vanity and upper tub floating shelf are all custom made white oak pieces from a local contact.

Stone-hewn vessel sink from Italy.. Despite Customs!

The privacy window is the Provia Endure series Rain Glass, which allows a ton of natural light into the space. We have been creating custom granite sills and jambs for these in-bath windows for a really unique look.

The shower door and closet shelves were provided by H2,LLC glass

Week 4 A-n-A Home Improvement LLC progress pics at the addition!

Finished exterior wall framing and set trusses designed to allow for a vaulted ceiling in the new build.

Framed a cricket for the portion of roof between the existing house and addition that will become the future attic access to the existing structure, eliminating the current eyesore hallway attic access ladder.

Wall sheathing and v***r barrier installed, roof and cricket sheathed and felted with synthetic roofing felt.. time to order the standing seam roofing!

Took through Saturday, but the addition is now weathered-in, ready to rock out windows in the addition and interior walls framing this week.

A-n-A Home Improvement LLC 3rd week progress shots on the addition! Bearing beams set where we opened up existing walls, flush beam and I-joists installed for 2nd floor portion of addition, subfloor installed and walls ready to stand up on Monday!

Spent some time getting everything protected for this weather, 4 giant tarps and some shanty-town action should keep everything safe enough through the rain.

The Crane truck is coming Thursday to swing trusses, best case scenario we will have this place weathered-in for next weekend!
