Hello Wylie, I have declared May 25 2024,
National WW 2 Rememance Day in Wylie, which coincides with my 93rd birthday. After the end of WW 2 everyone was glad it was over. There were celebrations all over America, Wylie was no different. Wylie planned a concert by none other than Louis Legstrong and his band which at that time the train was was barreling at 35 MPH towards Wylie Texas. There was celebrating on the train
After hours of partaking, Louis decided he needed to go out on the balcony of the last car. After an hour he was missed. Searching the train from end to end, no Louis. They immediately got the train to stop. After 3 miles of searching, they called off the search until the next day. The whole city of Wylie all 27 of them searched several days to no avail. Louis was gone never to be heard from again. The story goes; If you put your ear on one of the rails (it does not matter which one ), you can hear the faint strains of "Run for the Round House Neĺllie he cañ't corner you there". Now I can not vouch for the veracity of this tale as well as the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause or the Biden Administration.
