🌿 Exciting news for Wisconsin Bird Cities! 🌿

Do you have a habitat project coming up in 2026? Could your community use some native plants to bring it to life?

White Pelican Farm, Bird City Wisconsin, and SOS Save Our Songbirds are thrilled to announce a new grant opportunity: a $500+ native habitat package for one Wisconsin Bird City!

This package is designed to support communities in creating, restoring, or enhancing bird habitat with native plants tailored to your site.

✅ Eligible applicants: Bird Cities with active 2025 status
🗓 Application deadline: October 15, 2025
📣 Winner announced: November 3, 2025
🌱 Plants to be used spring/summer 2026

Projects will be evaluated based on habitat impact, ecological value, and opportunities for community engagement—with extra consideration for smaller/rural communities.

Join us in supporting Eagle Scout Max Marty's mesic meadow restoration project at McFarland's McDaniel Park this Saturday by participating in the up-coming planting event!

The planting along the lakeshore will provide much needed habitat for native birds, mammals and pollinators.

The event starts at 8:00 am Saturday, June 4th at McDaniel Park, 4806 McDaniel Lane in McFarland.

Please bring work gloves.

Spring....finally!

Spring has finally come to our farm. We are open, filling orders and updating the website inventory almost daily as Mother Nature allows the spring perennials to pop through the soil.
