The tricky thing about repurposing antiques for new homes is that sometimes the modern fixtures you want to use aren’t compatible. What we found with the doors throughout the home is that the backing on the doorknobs didn’t fit on all of them, so we had to pivot and use another shape on some of them. Personally, I think it looks great! What do you think?

My most favorite way to spend a Sunday morning is in the garden!

It’s finally peony season and that means I have a lot of cutting to do since I have so many planted. I end up giving so many arrangements away because there are so many! I made this little arrangement for a graduation party I attended today and there will be many more to follow🌸

Happy Sunday everyone!

This extra room upstairs is so versatile, but I love how it shows as a nursery. The antique charm from the doors with this authentic Nantucket bassinet (one of the greatest finds of 2026) makes the room so cozy yet it’s bright enough to transition into an office, guest space or library.

I love flex rooms like this, each homeowner usually has a different vision for the space and I think that’s really fun.

What would you do with this room?

I love spending time in my garden and have been getting things ready for the warm weather🪏🪴

During covid I made this map and ‘cheat-sheet’ binder to help me identify some of the things I had planted and keep track of everything I had. Over the last few years I’ve found what I like and dislike about the layout so I’m switching things up a bit.

Starting from seeds, it can be tricky remembering what went where, so my daughter made me these cute garden picks to label my herbs. I went the DIY route with popsicle sticks for the rest of the flowers but it’s something!

Gardening is a labor of love, but the end result is always so worth it! Stay tuned to see what else I’m doing to spruce up the place and see how it all turns out!

Rounding out our primary suite with a mix of new and old furniture! We reworked these chairs with wool blankets that I love and I think they ended up really charming. The antique dresser adds the perfect amount of warmth to the space and the faux flowers are just the cherry on top!

How do you think this bedroom turned out?

In order to help people better visualize how to furnish the upstairs at 37 South Street, we staged the bedrooms this past week. I think it helps prospective buyers to see what they can do with the space and gives them inspiration!

All the same, we want to make a staged home just as cozy as a furnished to be lived in home. We’re looking forward to showing you the rest!

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from living in my own home, it’s that there is no such thing as too much closet space! For the primary closet in particular, we made the most use of the vertical space as possible with the understanding that it won’t be utilized daily, but that it’s a great opportunity to create storage for out-of-season clothing.

How could we go to South Street and not mention the double-sided fireplace! I love how it takes an open-concept living space and makes it feel like each portion of the room is its own.

Just one of the special details here at 37 South Street🪵
