Our proud new mama, Molly, had her 3 baby ducklings hatch today! Happy birthday, babies! Now to think up some names. Any suggestions?

Its day 12 of the duck incubation under Mama Molly, our hen. Of the 4 eggs, 3 are doing well and one has died. Here is a video of what the alive 3 currently look like. The fetuses are alive and moving! So fascinating and exciting!

Its day 4 of my hen sitting on her 4 duck eggs. (The last set of 2 she was sitting on died and didn't hatch, so I decided to try again) I candled them tonight and you can already see the veining in all 4 eggs. Their vascular systems have already begun to form. Wishing the mama hen that her 4 baby ducks luck that theu will hatch this time! (Sorry for the blurry photo!)

Our neighbors asked us to feed their animals tonight and we ended up delivering 8 piglets!! Congrats mama piggy on your newborn babies!!
