It almost felt like Spring this last weekend. We were finally able to get the horses out and stretch everyone’s legs. It was long overdue and we’ were a little stiff in the saddle :-) we rode Codorus state Park on Saturday. Lake Marburg was still covered with ice, except around the edges. Just enough for Benny to get in and splash around. One of our neighboring riders’ horse went down and started to roll, but fortunately, she was quick on her feet and jumped off in the nick of time. We rode Rocky Ridge County Park on Sunday. It was a little windy, but we were protected in the trees and it was well with the expansive views looking as far north as Ski Roundtoo and even Three Mile Island. Overall, a gorgeous weekend. Great to be back in the saddle.
