It’s finally happening!

Abundance Kitchen opened just a couple of weeks ago. We have already had vendors trickling in to get THEIR dreams up and running. How exciting!

Now it’s Abundance Market’s turn. The sister store. She’s been waiting patiently for her time to shine. And now is it. Never heard of her? Allow me to share! Abundance Market is the storefront attached to AK. The market is a staple store for your post-work quick grocery run. BUT she is also full of unique national brands, local products (we ❤️ you, York!), and of course items from vendors right in AK! She’s there for your workday lunch break. Your hosting needs. Your gift grabs. Your weekly pantry fills. Your meal preps. +++ so. much. more!

Bearded Egg will be the flagship vendor for AM- as this was all his doing! That means that product will ALWAYS be there. Have you been following our journey? THIS is our “storefront.” Love our bagels? Use our bread daily? Come on by! But- even better- you’ll find muchhhh more Bearded Egg products. Ones we have been dreaming of releasing (or bringing back) for years.

So. Come celebrate this double grand opening! And seriously- tell all your friends.

Abundance Market: York’s first speciality micro grocer is hiring!

Abundance Market (located just outside of York City) is looking for a market associate who is passionate about food/cooking and local brands.

Hours are part-time but at least 1-2 Saturdays a month are a must. Rate to be discussed after interviews. No benefits at this time.

Job responsibilities include

-operate the register and handle transactions

-learning our local products/makers (this means yummy product samples to take home!)

-monitor inventory and product quality

-opening/closing duties

-light cleaning

This isn’t a “stand behind the register” kind of job. We’re looking for somebody that is excited about what this store will have to offer and talk to customers about it. Serious inquiries only.

We’ve been waiting for quite a while to introduce you to this guy.

Meet Abe. Our Abundance Market superfan. He’s not an employee- he’s a regular that keeps coming back for more. He’s always stalking our social media waiting for the next drop of new product. Usually the first customer in the door on a Saturday morning. Our hype man. He’s always talking about us wherever he goes. And yes- his bag is always overflowing when he leaves. Can you blame him?

We hosted our FIRST orientation for AK last week 🥳 and boy are we excited! This is the final piece of the puzzle for you as vendors to be able to use the space. We hope you feel just as accomplished as we do. Well done, vendors! For those that didn’t make it- see you Aug 19th at 6 PM!
