Some before, during and after photos of a new construction two level deck to an above ground pool we did recently. All the framing for the deck has joist tape on the tops. This is a self adhesive water proofing. Typical deck framing and decking rot from water trapped between the bottom of the decking and top of framing. The wood acts like a sponge which promotes rot.

Another deck resurfacing under way . We're making a few changes to the shape and installing wood decking. The decking material is is # 1 grade clear , ( no knot's ) beautiful material.

Deck resurfacing complete. We removed the old wooden decking and installed composite decking and handrails .

This is a load bearing wall removal to open up a kitchen . The beam being jacked in to place is two pieces of 1/2" thick by 9" wide steel plates. Bolted through 2x10 on each side to provide a connection point for joist hangers . When it's completed you won't see the beam at all just smooth ceiling

On this we removed the old wood decking and added some stairs installed new PVC decking ( Rosewood with an Onyx boarders. It's not completely finished as of this video getting close though !

Coming along now. Cornice work going up. Dental blocks and more crown left to be installed.

The beginning of a new pool house. Day 2 concrete is cured now so we were able to set the 8"x8" pressure treated post . Now that the posts / building corners are square and level on to beam installation . 🙂
