Pond 2, Fight!!

I had extra liner, what do ya expect?

Shoot me some ideas for emergent and aquatic plants for this one, I could use them!

Im going for a graminoid-dominate wetland filter for the rainwater bog-pond system.

This is my first truly aquatic planting and im winging it. Any advice is welcome and appreciated.

I pulled the trigger and installed a rainwater bog.

Featuring:

Pinus strobus
Larix laricinia
Carex aquatilus
Acorus americanus
Saracennia purpurea
Lysimachia terrestris
Scirpus cyperinus
And as soon as the mail catches up ill be adding Drosera intermedia, Vaccinium macrocarpon and Platanthera ciliaris

Garden Club and some new friends came through and helped clear out the driveway a bit. But I still need YOUR help.
Ill be accepting donations of potting soil and labor to move through these gorgeous little plants I have.
871 lamay, leave the soil in the yard, ill find it. Take a tray of asters of ya want. Expect more workdays.

Get your asters on down to Wee Wah Gardens today for a wide selection of Symphyotrichum and a couple of his pals.

Its that time again, friends. Im looking for potting soil of any variety, and hands to help transplant, consolidate and or just take some of these many plants ive held on to or recently acquired. Im trying to have some cleaned up for the tree distro next weekend.

I repeat: free native plants for anyone that stops by, but bonus points if ya bring me some dirt!

Ive been busy. Hope you have been well enough, let's get back to plants and bugs n stuff.

Im out at New Leaf Natives Plant Nursery most of the time tending to all the new babies.

Im brainstorming an island day, reach out if you're interested, otherwise you'll surely miss it. Maybe we get to take the new boat!!!
