Getting to TX sounds easy but cleaning out a store and cleaning and packing up a house all while working on getting our online inventory straight so we can get our website back up live again ….. it’s a lot but it will be worth it in the end.
We’d love to buy a house right away but the reality of being self-employed is having a hard time qualifying for a loan. Strange since our loan payment would be below what our rent is, but proving we can pay it is nearly impossible. I’ve been paying rent of nearly 2,400 for years… but lenders are not convinced I can pay a 2k loan payment. I used to be in lending so I understand guidelines, just a strange an frustrating little paradox 🤯.
We want to buy a house with a little space around us but for the first year or so we will rent a tract house out near my son. Hopefully we can save so we can get into a house of our own soon.
Not looking for anything big or extravagant, just a sweet small house with some space around us to breathe and live in peace.
Hopefully soon - till then, rent a cookie cutter packed in with others … ultimate incentive to save 😄.
