A long read, but A VITAL ONE!
Choosing a reputable and knowledgeable company is much more necessary than customers understand. Driving around town and seeing the amount of trees that are topped or incorrectly cut is alarming. To me, it shows the lack of knowledge, commitment, and care to not only clients but the trees that provide the reason and ability to make money. Some see it as just that, income. Do whatever the client wants and move onto the next job. We choose to provide reason and information for why we execute different forms of trimming and pruning. Which are two different aspects of tree care entirely!
Pruning is for the quality and health of a tree. Usually internally, inside the crown. Pruning is done methodically, and with care intent and purpose behind it.
Trimming can be approached the same but is done for reasons such as.. trees too close to homes or utility lines. Limbs too low for lawn maintenance and leasure activity.
RIP Property services wants to provide and educate customers on proper tree care. Why? Improper trimming, pruning, and topping of your tree is a temporary fix that creates bigger problems sooner than later. Eventually costing you more money because your tree, depending the species, declines over time at different rates due to still being congested and simply adding more issues on top of existing ones. We want to remove the issues! Some declining completely as a result in a single season!
Choose to take proper care of your trees and go with a company that knows about doing professional work! We’re happy to provide an abundant amount of photos on our page that show we do things right, usually, for around the same price as someone who’s going to charge you to do things wrong. Topping a tree is so incredibly wrong, I question how a “tree” company can stomach doing it to the tree and clients.
Most can climb in a lift and whack branches. VERY FEW can do the same and turn a tree not only into an incredible work of art, but a tree that will become more healthy and provide amazing benefits for years to come!
