Opening day now moved to Wednesday, May 20. Back spasms starting to slow down in frequency and duration but still unable to bend or lift and pain still is pretty intense. I'm so sorry but I am getting there slowly. Still more 40s in night time temps in forecast so the plants will be happy to wait. 😁

Important FYI: We are postponing the opening date to Wednesday , May 20 due to much cooler temps which is slowing down plant growth and some major health issues slowing me down. My back spasms are starting to slow down but still unable to bend or lift. We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience.

OK everyone - I'm on that annual pick what varieties to offer this year. Let me know if you have any favorites you want included. Tomatoes, peppers, herbs, salad ingredients, cukes, zucchini, etc.

Just wanted to let everyone know that my favorite planter - Greenstalk is having a huge clearance sale starting tomorrow on all their discontinued colors. If you are already signed up for their emails it starts today. :)

We're running a half price sale on all tomatoes, herbs and salad greens. There still in an excellent selection of tomatoes, especially Italian and paste varieties. Beets and onions are only $1. Peat pots are still only $1.50. Come and find a bargain and fill up your garden with great heirlooms with fantastic flavor.

For all you fried green tomato people - we've got a couple of special varieties for you. Green Thumb and Giraffe stay green and firm and so make excellent fried green tomatoes. They also are a storage tomato which means they are harvested green and you let them ripen slowly inside after frost so you can have tomatoes in December!

We've also got a tomato just for stuffing, and another that makes great tomato juice. And there are several varieties that work fantastic for drying - from Italy where they typically sun dry them.

Starting Friday, all onions and beets will be on sale for only $1!
We've got both sweet and storage onions. There are red beets - of course - and a 3 color mix that has wonderful flavor. Plus Chiogga - a striped beet from Italy - stunning!
